Keyword Research:

  1. In the Webmaster Tools Search Engines section, type your website's name (e.g. in the Search Bar. 
  2. Click on the "Search Engine Results Page (SERP)" icon and select "Search Google for the URL" from the drop-down menu.

  4. Click on the "Links" tab and search for the keyword that you are looking to add to your website. The results will appear as a page titled "Links" (see Figure 2). Figure 2: Clicking on the "Links" tab will display a search results page with the keywords that have been searched for.

Entering Webmaster Tools

Before you start doing any keyword research, make sure you've logged in to Google Webmaster Tools. You'll want to log in and upload a text file of all of the pages on your website. On the menu at the top, click "Start Logging." Once you have everything uploaded, click "Go" to create a report. Searches in Google Navigate to Google Search Console's Search Analysis tab and enter the domain name of your website. If you are using a WordPress site, it will be called wp-sites. You can find it by doing a Google search for your domain name in the search box and selecting "Search results for" from the drop-down list.
